Buildpr :: Quick start

1. Go to www.buildpr.com/signup.php
2. Create an account by filling out some basic details for creating your account, company name, billing address, etc.
a. NOTE: Price per URL is $10.00 per month. If you have more then 10 sites we will give you a special discount (disclosed to you once we know the amount of sites you have).
3. Once you create the account, you will need to check your email and click on the link given to activate your account.
4. Now you are ready to login

1. Go to: www.buildpr.com and login with the user pass you made
2. Click on “Go To Administration”
3. On the left hand side is a button menu. Choose “Account Management”
4. Then click on “Add New Account”
5. Now in main window: Choose a category/subcategory (if for some reason the sub category does not appear, then type in a name below that for account name). The account name can be anything you want "company name" etc. Then click add account, if the sub category didn't work at first, it will now work and you can choose and click add account again.
6. Click on “Manage my sites” and in the main area of site you can fill out all the details,
a. Register as Sponsored Lister : Yes
b. Your Reciprocal Link Page : * (the url where your links pages start currently. Example: http://www.yourdomain.com/links.html or which ever you call that page. NOTE: please enter exact url even if this is the default page, make sure to add the index.html or index.php (remember this software is SEO Friendly so you can use .html for your links pages with our software.
7. New Site Url: * http://www.yourdomain.com
8. New Site Title: company name
9. Want To: choose which you would like to do (you can choose all 3 if you like)
10. New Site Description: type in small paragraph about your site
11. Terms for buy, sell, trade: make them only with relevant sites
12. Click Add Site
13. Now you must wait to be activated by one of our Admin, you will be sent and invoice at this time with a link to the form to process your payment.
14. Once you have fill out the payment page you will be activated within 24 hours. You will be notified via email that you are activated.

1. Now that you are activated go back to www.buildpr.com and login
2. Click on “Go To Administration”
3. Click on “Exchange Area”
4. Click on “Manage Category” here you can add category names that will appear on your links page
5. Click on “Manage Sub Category” here you can add sub folders to your categories
6. Click on “Managed Exchanged Links” here you can manually add links from other sites that you have previously exchanged with and put them in the correct category/sub category.
7. Click on “Account Management”
8. Click on “Manage My Sites” and at the lower part of screen is a zip file or .rar to download.
9. Extract those files into your sites directory and there will be a folder called “listing” and upload that folder and all contents to the site. This folder will be uploaded to your index.html page.
10. Then go to: http://www.yourdomain.com/listing/admin
11. Login: default
12. There are some instructions about:
     a. chmod of files
     b. Editing of the .htaccess
     c. 2 codes to copy and paste into your links page body.
     d. Changing your default password to your own password
NOTE: it is very important to change your default password, but you must chmod the files first to do this.
13. Once those are done check the links page you uploaded with the code you inserted and there should be a message saying your pages are not yet updated.
14. Then go back to the admin (listing/admin) you click on “update my pages”
15. Enter your email name and password you set with buildpr.com
16. Then click update and you will be directed to another page,
17. Click that button and you will be back at your page with a message saying this is complete.
18. Then go to the links page that you uploaded and you should see the message is gone and you will now see the categories/sub and links you added previously. See example here: www.gamebums.com/site.html
19. You can login anytime you add new links or categories/sub categories and update your pages for this new information to appear.
20. You can also edit the css to customize the text, colors, etc of how your links appear on your site. Those are auto updates when you click update

1. Go to: www.buildpr.com
2. Login
3. Browse through the categories/subcategory and find link partners
4. You will notice 2 things
    a. Google Page rank ( if you know a site has a page rank other then what is shown, it could be a new site and usually requires about 12 hours for buildpr.com to update the rankings.)
    b. You will also see “alexa ranking” you can click on that to see their alexa ranking
    c. These should be very helpful to you in making a decision on who to trade with
5. Once you find a great match click on “View Details” you can then see their requirements for trading links
6. If they are a match then click on “view activity” and send them a PM. Once you do this, they can either respond back with an swers or questions, or they can accept your request and activate the trade
7. Now, if this is activated, the links are automatically swapped between sites you only have to go to your site /listing/admin and update your pages.

There are many other things you can do in this system, but that was just our quick guide. You will find help topics and faqs in our site and those will continually grow as questions, requests, etc come in.

Also, from time to time we will be adding more features to our members area and our software as our numbers grow. The more members we have the more upgrades we will do and the more marketing we will do.
